I’m obsessed with non alcoholic cocktails at the moment and I’m learning that there are so many high quality options.
Amongst them is Seedlip - the world’s first distilled, non alcoholic spirit. I've been a fan of their three flavours for a while now and find they work perfectly as a gin substitute! I started playing with them for work as part of a campaign for N/A drinks we’re doing, and as part of that I also got a bottle of something called sparkling tea.
I know, I was just as confused as you probably are right now haha, but hear me out: it’s the perfect cava/champagne/prosecco substitute if you’re for whatever reason not drinking alcohol. It’s a Danish company that makes them (@copenhagensparklingtea) and this one with 0% alcohol is made with white tea, jasmine and darjeeling. It starts of very fresh and floral with flavours of jasmine and chamomile, and eventually turns into a more herbal sip with a powerful taste. It’s honestly so, so good!
I combined these two in a N/A riff on a bubbly cocktail called Modern Art that normally calls for gin and sparkling wine. The herbaceous flavours of the sparkling tea worked WONDERS in this! Highly recommend.
- 30ml Seedlip Spice
- 10ml Lemon juice
- 15cl Cherry syrup from the jar
